The Flag Raising Ceremony located on the grass in front of Garner House at Memorial Park marks the official beginning of the Independence Day Festival.

Memorial Park is truly transformed as a wide variety of performers rove the park providing color and frolicsome fun for people of all ages! Stage entertainment includes a variety of bands. Local organizations provide information about numerous topics.
A wide variety of food is available for purchase.

T. Willard Hunter Speakers Corner
10:45 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

In order to celebrate our country's First Amendment Right, Speakers Corner provides a forum for citizens in our community to speak their minds on any subject from personal to global.
Located on the grass in front of Garner House at Memorial Park.

Interested persons should contact the Independence Day Committee Members to sign up:


Parade
3:00 p.m.
A "must-see" annual tradition led by fire truck, followed by kids (and adults) on bikes, trikes, skateboards and wagons festively decorated. Floats, bands, vintage cars and so much more. Parade begins at 10th Street and Indian Hill Blvd., travels south to Harrison Ave., turns west and winds-up at Larkin Park.
